UNDER WATER PHOTOGRAPHY

Who said you need a Go Pro to take good pictures under water? To be honest, I never gave to much importance to the Lumix Panasonic DMC-FT25 my dear Bruno gave me on Christmas but the more I know about this camera the more I'm grateful I have it. 

FIESA :: SAND SCULPTURES

I'm so glad I found these pictures while organizing my photos folder. Fiesa is a Sand Sculpture exhibition that takes place in Armação de Pera (South of Portugal) every year from May to October. Every year is a different theme and I can't imagine how much work done behind these spectacular huge sand statues.

WELCOME TO MY LIFE HOLGA

I know, I know. I write often about how consumism is taking over our lives and we should take it easy when buying more material stuff. But when you really want something as an hobby or you really like it and you have spare money, I say go for it.

I know about lomography for a long time, but only few days ago I decided to buy second hand holga analogic camera. Actually there's a sad story behind this camera... the girl who sold me said that it was a gift from her ex-boyfriend and because they broke up so hard she needs to get rid off everything from him! Wow! She never ever used it before, even came with the original box and the instructions book. For sure, I commit myself to take wonderful pictures to keep all the positive energies around this camera ;)

CHALLENGE - TAKE ONE THEMED PICTURE PER DAY *WEEK FOUR*

This is the last week of the month so last pictures of the challenge. I enjoyed a lot taking part of this but obviously I was super excited the first week and less excited the rest of the month. This is me. But I think it was lots of fun to wake up, check the word for the day and dream about the daily picture.

At night I checked all the other pictures from the participants. Many times I felt down because mostly of the pictures were way better then mine but soon I understood that comparassion is not allowed here because some of participants have a Design or Photography course or have PhotoShop skills. But mostly I was happy to see so much creativity going on! When there are no rules you can fly anywhere and come back with a genious idea. Good Job Everyone!!

Now, sharing my last pictures. Some still from the "1 day take 6 pictures because I was too lazy the last days". Hope to do something like this again soon to work my laziness and the fact that I'm only excited the first days... I wanna change!

 Day 24 - Button. Inspired by the vintage buttons I'm selling. (And sold these ones) 

CHALLENGE - TAKE ONE THEMED PICTURE PER DAY *WEEK THREE*

Shame on me. While in Lisbon completly forgot about this challenge and I was doing pretty good, taking one picture per day. Today I took 5 pictures for the challenge, just because I don't want to give up and I simply adore taking pictures.

 Day 17 - What's in your bag? I just bought my Boom Festival Ticket and the seller kindly gave me many Boom Postcards and Stickers (theme: feminine) and I've been giving them away to my friends just because they are so inspiring and pretty.

CHALLENGE - TAKE ONE THEMED PICTURE PER DAY *WEEK TWO*

Oh boy, this week was terribly busy, for a long time I didn't feel the stress mode, responsability, the feeling that there's always something to do. I even though about smoking a cigarette again!!! I quit smoking tabacco for almost 3 years.

By the pictures you can see my busy week influence but this week I promise to go back to my photography learning and try to do my best.

 Day 10 - Mom. She has the coolest hair, it's awesome when you have white hair, can dye your hair any bright color.

365 Days Pictures Project doesn't aplly to me because I don't feel is challenging enough but I wanted an excuse to take pictures everyday in other to work my creativity and Photography skills. 

When I read this post at We Blog You called Desculpas há muitas or There are many excuses I didn't think twice and started to take part right the way. The point is to take a picture per day with a theme as you can see in the picture above, during February, and then post in instagram or facebook with the hashtag #desculpashámuitas.
