Alright I said before I was tired of traveling all the time but this time I'm traveling couple months. The thing is that I'm going to use braces and the dentist said I can't be away longer then a month so I guess I'm going on a three months trip, put the damn braces and then will travel for maximum 3 weeks. Problem solved haha
In the meanwhile we have a sixty years old house in Lisbon, not in downtown but in the Centre #luckybastards so I don't have to be part with these madness of zillions of people all around catching buses and trains and subways. I will do it eventually but not all the time. I want to carry on with my daily life in my area as much as possible. Walk or Cycle.
From now I have a base, a place where I will come back after my trips. When other travelers ask me where I live I can say "Lisbon" instead of "Earth Planet" :) Now I can host friends, family, travelers, friends of friends. I want to pay back the Universe for all these brilliant years with so many different places to sleep and all the wonderful and beautiful humans who crossed paths with me and shared a couch, a roof, a cup of tea, a smile, a friendly word, an hug. Eternally grateful!
Even though I have been in Lisbon dozens of times, I don't know the city. It's surreal, way toooo big, after all I'm the town girl who lived 5 minutes walking to the beach and knew everyone. So I consider this moving to Lisbon as a travel itself, I'm going to explore restaurants, parks, museums, the surroundings and will post as much as possible in the blog. Who doesn't like to read tips from a local? Locals know those secret spots you cannot find in any guide book.
No time to lose, I already started the exploration, wanna see the results? :)
