I started Shanti Free Bird blog in 2013 to post about my travels: tips where to go, what to do and share beautiful photos with travelers and friends. In the meanwhile I got so evolved, inspiring other people to travel or making friends with bloggers, that now it became my personal blog, my virtual home where I write about my adventures around the World and all things I’m passionate about including: arts, vintage, handmade, DIY projects, sustainability. There’s also space to talk about my lifestyle, points of view and thoughts. (see Journal category)
I adopted traveling as my lifestyle in 2011, when I decided to quit my Social Worker job to backpack by myself in India. I ended up traveling Asia and Australia alone for 7 months. This travel was the beggining of my spiritual trip: to get to know myself better, to understand my limits, to see the World with my eyes, to be more conscious of our planet issues, to respect all cultures and all live beings. My life changed forever!
